With an increasing number of users and shoppers in mobile88.com, Mobile88 has decided to provide their users with a more secure and efficient way of making payments via their website. In line with this, they signed an agreement with Bank Islam for a FPX (Financial Process Exchange) service in Kuala Lumpur earlier today.
Supported by Bank Negara Malaysia, Bank Islam and other local financial institutions, FPX is operated by FPX Payment Gateway Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary company of Malaysian Electronic Payment System (1997) Sdn Bhd (MEPS).
According to the Group Managing Director of Mobile88, Chan Kok Long, “Mobile88.com is using certain payment systems such as credit card transactions, e-banking and mobile money. Now we are upgrading our payment system to FPX and will be making a Pos-payment system available soon.”
